  Throughout my working life as an artist, there have been two abiding ideals that had never been fully realized until I was invited to design a liturgical banner for the church where I worship:
to participate in a truly collaborative project, and to have a part in fashioning an object for Sacred Space.
  The Dove of the Spirit also represents the Fire of God, and the labyrinth of three fish (one for each of the post-resurrection meals Jesus shared with his disciples) symbolizes the Burning Bush of Moses.
